Jewish OutLook is the South African Jewish Organisation catering for the Lesbian, Gay, Bi-Sexual, Transgendered and Intersex Community.

It was formed by a group of dynamic individuals in the wake of the highly successful tour of the film “Trembling Before G-D” in South Africa.

Since then, Jewish OutLook has been involved in a whole host of activities ranging from campaigning for the right of same-sex couples to marry to our annual Gay Pride Shabbat Dinner and other social activities. We also offer support to the Jewish LGBTI community where needed.

We are thus a non-denominational community organisation, offering a political voice, social environment and support for LGBTI people within and outside of the Jewish community.For further information on the vision of Jewish OutLook, click on the aims and objectives section.
